From the WSM in Ireland An anarchist analysis of the Brexit vote 1. The Brexit vote for the UK to leave the European Union demonstrates that even weak parliamentary democracy is incompatible with escalating neoliberal inequality. In the UK as elsewhere a tiny segment of the population have taken a larger and larger share of total wealth in the last decades. Particularly under austerity almost everyone else has seen their share of the wealth they produce decline massively. |

Of course, I don't think you think those who voted for Brexit are to blame for this worsening situation. They are justified to express their anger at the EU shit, which is just one form or manifestation of concentration and expansion of power in the hands of our oppressors worldwide, not just Europewide. Then are we anarchists to blame for their insignificant political and social force because it is one factor in the outcome of (ultra)nationaist resurgence after this "Brexit" referendum victory? Maybe or maybe not. My point is this: we should have (had) guts to support this anger at and the rejection of the EU in the first place by calling for Brexit (or future Frexit or whatever) and explain vigorously how this anger can be channeled into a better future, which is, of course, self-management of every component and layer of society by ordinary working people worldwide. What else can we do? Of couse, most anarchists have done so far something else: remain silent and play dead. Then maybe we are at least partly to blame for this worsening situation after Brexit vote victory.
I would read the same post from the anarchistic point of view about the inner situation in UK, meaning how the government explains Wales, England, and Northern Ireland benefits of the unity.
Voted for Britain's exit from the EC were based only their own ambitions canopy that their rights and freedoms infringed EC Parliament, people who have made it to commemorate not understand ekonomicheskih and social impacts, shows that their limited knowledge in these grown.
The reports of appalling racist abuse, including signs saying "Leave the EU, no more Polish vermin" being posted through the letter boxes of Polish families, and of physical attacks since the EU referendum must be condemned and opposed.
Regarding the internal situation in the UK, namely the government's explanation of the advantages of unity to Wales, England, and Northern Ireland, I would read the same text from an anarchist perspective.
