The damage to the Israeli economy seems to be yet only marginal... but the margin expand now faster. Some of the firm already yield to the pressure targeted at areas in the settlements of the 1967 occupation and regroup back to the Israeli areas of 1948, in spite of the loss in government bribes and cheaper work force. The Israeli media is full with warning and even beginning of fear mongering. The connection between the joint struggle in the demos and the B.D.S. and the development of the boycott is acknowledged. Mean time the efforts to transfer of the Palestinians from key areas - the Bedouins in the south of the 1948 areas and in area C of the 1967 occupation intensify, as if they know that the opportunities to do it will end soon. Mean time, the non armed Friday demos are suppressed inconsistently with special treatment to Qadum. [Italiano]

Bil'in

5-6-15 Friday demo. 14 Israelis with the anarchists against the wall and about 20 internationals joined the activists of the village. As usual lately, the state forces waited for us near the route of the dismantled separation fence to prevent us from reaching the further separation wall. Just as we reached the valley, the soldiers of the state force started to shower us with tear gas. Few of the shabab went to the left (north) to confront the second unit. Due to the mostly western wind we had to regroup back few times and returning again.
After about 30 minutes the soldiers went away and we declared our victory before returning to the village.

Bil'in today - Friday 12-6-15, another weekly Demo against the occupation and the separation wall. 13 Israelis with the anarchists against the wall initiative, joined many internationals and Bil'iners. Just when we were in the road leading from the village to the west, the Israeli thugs started to shower us with tear gas. Due to the northern wind we just retreated a bit and repeatedly advanced and retreated. After a long while we ended the demo and retreated to the village.

Don't Say We Did Not Know 452

Palestinians living in the Tel Rumeida neighborhood of Hebron suffer repeated assaults by the Jewish settlers and IDF soldiers. For example, on May 16, 2015, young settlers threw stones at the home of the Abu Aisha family located next to the Jewish settlement at Tel Rumeida. On May 23, 2015, teen-age settlers assaulted a delegation of Quakers exiting after visiting the home of Palestinian family Azzeh. Soldiers entered the house after the visit and conducted a search. First they accused on of the family's female member of throwing stones. Then settlers began to hurl stones at the house. The girl was hurt. The soldiers went out towards the settlers and did not return.

Beit Elbarakah

Of yesterday (6 June 2015) protest in front of Beit Elbarakah endangered compound organized by South West Bank Popular Committees. 10's of Palestinian and Israeli peace activists marched peacefully towards the complex at road 60. Activists raised Palestinian flags, chanted for freedom and Palestine. The moment we arrived to the complex, 10s of heavily armed Zionist occupation forces attacked us trying to disperse us, but continued trying to enter the endangered complex. The complex is a property of the Christian Endowment, it was built in the 1940s as a hospital to serve the Palestinian community in that area, then was closed late 1960s because of financial problems, since then it was used for different social and religious activities. Lately terrorist Zionist occupation colonists are trying to take over the complex at gunpoint in favor of colonial expansion.

On Thursday, May 28, 2015, government agents escorted by police demolished homes in Bedouin villages in the Negev: a residence was demolished in Kuchla, north of Kseife and in Kufr Sar near Dimona. At Umm Batin, near Omer, a structure was destroyed.

Don’t say we didn’t know #453

On Thursday, 4th June 2015, IDF soldiers demolished tent living quarters and sheep-pens belonging to four Palestinian families in Humsa, in the Jordan Valley in the West Bank (near Hamra checkpoint).

This time the fact is plain for everyone to see: the Israeli government intends to demolish the village of Umm al Kheiran and in its stead build the (Jewish) community of Hiran. People are to be removed from their homes for the sole “crime” of having been born Bedouins in the State of the Jews, to make way for settling people whose sole advantage is to have been born Jews. What could be more racist?!

Less obvious is the intention to uproot the neighboring village of Atir in order to plant a forest. Again, humans will be removed for being Bedouins in the Jewish State, not even for the sake of settling Jews there, but merely to plant a forest! This is a familiar practice. Tuwail Abu Jarwal was wiped out, after 50 demolitions and residents’ arrests, and now the JNF has planted a forest in its stead. Al Arakib has been demolished over 80 times, with the same intent of planting a forest there.
