Israel started the attack on the Hamas to sabotage the Hamas compromise with the west bank authority, and restore a weakened Hamas independent rule in the Gaza strip. Hamas compromise was a response to Egyptian closer intended to dismantle the Hamas. The failed Israeli attack will force it to contribute its share to significantly open the closer of the border between Israel and the Gaza strip which was till the attack based on the bare minimal on the margin of humanitarian catastrophe. Whatever the details of the new cease fire and arrangements, the failure of Israel vicious assault to stop the Hamas from firing rockets on Israel is a significant "game changer". The failed attack on Gaza and the continuing popular struggle in the west bank are hastening the international pressures to end the occupation of the West bank and the closer of the Gaza strip.

Bil'in

As usual, Bil'in weekly demonstration took place today after the noon time prayers. About 20 Israelis with the anarchists against the wall initiative and more than a dozen internationals joined the Bil'iners and a group of the neighboring village Safa. The special theme of the demonstration today was against the newest slaughters in Gaza and the killing by an Israeli sniper a youth of the nearby village in a last week demo there against the slaughters in Gaza. The Israeli army was particularly brutal in their repression of today's demonstration. The army attacked the protests with tear gas long before we even reached the wall. After their failed attempt to disperse us by shooting from behind the wall, They invaded with their jeeps the Bil'in lands freed only 3 years ago and started shooting tear gas from them. Many of us suffered from suffocation and temporary blindness as a result.

Nabi Saleh

08/08/2014 As the ceasefire in Gaza was violated, resulting in more Palestinian casualties, the people of Nabi Saleh marched in solidarity with Gaza, calling to lift the siege and protesting the massacre. Over 1800 Palestinians were killed so far, about a quarter of them children. The IOF attempted to disperse the march with barrages of tear gas canisters and rubber coated steel bullets. No major injuries reported.

Qaddum

8-8-2014At the weekly kufr qaddum demo against the Israeli occupation, against the siege and attacks on Gaza, demanding to open the village's Road!
Over 200 unarmed dedicated demonstrators participated.
Today's first contact: snipers shoot two demonstrators in the leg and the back with silenced tutu bullets.seems Israel has a new widespread policy of firing at unarmed protesters.
Later shot a third protester. Also bombarded us with abrupt thick barrages of tear gas.
The shabab responded with some rocks and a lovely tire fire.
After two hours we dispersed.

textPalestine-Israel, The joint struggle in the focus of the extreme right "leftists' bashing"* 15:09 Sun 14 Feb by Ilan S. 0 comments

The mounting international pressure on Israel with the B.D.S. as catalyst, initiated a rightist onslaught on the activists of the joint struggle. With cooperation of the main TV channel, two activists were arrested - even blamed to be involved in murder of a Palestinian collaborator of settlements... only to be released unconditionally weeks later. As part of the onslaught I got few seconds in the rightist item in the main TV news program summing our position that no state is a solution - not two states and even one democratic state is impossible to achieve before the Zionist settler colonialist project will be defeated by social revolution in the whole region. In another wide distribution of the rightist video item I was presented as claiming that the chant in the joint demos for freedom to Palestine from the river to the see is not a call for a state for the Palestinians, but for a joint secular democratic state for all the inhabitants - Palestinians, Jews, and others... It seems we owe them rightists for the wide publicity.

textPalestine-Israel, The first serious crack in the Israeli Zionist ruling elite* 16:55 Thu 28 Jan by Ilan S. 0 comments

It is hard to assess what is the part of the joint struggle and the B.D.S. in the serious crack in the Israeli elite. It was expressed by the leader of biggest opposition party - The Zionist List which suggested a partial agreement of withdrawal (even from part of the expanded Jerusalem). Since 1967 war, all the years the official position was that Israel will retreat from most of the occupied territories of the 1967 war if the Palestinian will agree to a peace pact that will include among other conditions the non return of the 1948 refugees. As it was clear that no Palestinian leadership will be able to do that it was clear to all that the monolithic consensus of the Zionist parties is to continue the occupation for ever. It is not surprising that even the leader of the radical leftist Zionist party Merets oppose this radical suggestion for withdrawal with out the (non achievable) final peace pact.

The bad news are that the overwhelming majority of the Israelis support it - including the centrists and even the Zionist left (who claim they want "two states" solution but with impossible pre conditions). The good news are that the imperial powers whose support to the status qua are gradually yielding to public opinions pressure of their citizens who do not agree with the Israeli apartheid-transferor regime. The non armed joint struggle initiated wide attention and drew participants from all over the world with international movement dedicated to put end to the Israeli occupation. (A short video about two kids in Bil'in got in few days two million views.). The anarchists against the wall and other like minded among the palestinians and abroad still struggle for the end of the Zionist settler colonialist/transferor project and not just for the end of 1967 occupation. The Israeli authorities admit it have no solution or a strategy to stop or even restrict the third "unorganized" mainly individualist and of youth. The mass arrest of hundreds of under age children do not seems to have any effect. The transfer efforts do not stop, and even increase in the Jordan valley, area C, Jerusalem, and even within the 1948 borders. The controversy in the Israeli media is mainly about the admitting it is already one state and about initiating a better Bantustan order before international pressure will force a more substantial retreat from 1967 expansion. The B.D.S. media news are usually restricted only to dramatic additions in it. The Nebi Saleh community is in the focus of the efforts to stop the joint struggle and its Friday demos. In spite of it, the regular Bil'in, Ni'ilin, Nebi Saleh, Ma'asarah, Qaddum, Sheikh Jarrah, West of Hebron Hills are accompanied from time to time by other communities.

textPal-Isra, The one state the joint struggle try to change*. 14:08 Mon 30 Nov by Ilan S. 0 comments

You struggle when you have hope for a developing change. You struggle when you refuse to accept the present as the only possible future. You struggle even when the hope is low just to keep your dignity from evaporating. And there are people their rage is so strong that no reasoning can hold them back. Now, when the hope for a better common future evaporated, and the hope for a nice personal future is even lower, the anger of lot of youth is stronger than the preservation of life instinct... it is just waiting for a chancy trigger to pull another boy or girl and send them to a suicide mission. And the mighty Israeli state just start to admit that their brutality reached the wall it cannot overcome. The military elite already stated to reveal it in the open that the new emerging "individualist" Intifada cannot be stopped by force. For those who are not burnt out or desperate the non armed joint struggle is the only sane road. [Italiano]

textPale-Isra - The one state the "realist" Zionists strived for and the (joint) struggle*. 13:36 Sun 08 Nov by Ilan S. 0 comments

In the beginning of the British mandate of the both sides of the Jordan, when Palestine was divided by the UK into two entities - each on one side of the Jordan, the secular national socialists accepted it while the rightist opposed. They still have in their movement anthem: "two sides to the Jordan - this side and the other are ours too". After Israel grabbed 75% of the west bank of Palestine in 1948 war, the Zionist elite of all trends was urging and waiting for opportunity to enlarge its share. The 1956 war failed to supply it but the 1967 one gave Israel all the west bank (and some more like Sinai - which it had to give back). The efforts to transfer the Palestinian out was successful in 1948 war, was less successful in the 1967 war, and much less substantial later - in spite of the efforts. The fear of transfer which inhibited the urge to struggle - both within 1948 borders and the enlarged 1967 ones is gradually dwindling and the non armed popular struggle - though hesitant, is gradually collecting momentum.

textPalestine-Israel - The third Intifada is collecting momentum - The joint unarmed struggle continue* 00:38 Mon 12 Oct by Ilan S. 0 comments

The fiasco of the failed take over of the relatively independent Iraq and Syria, by US imperialism lead to the compromises with the independent Iran. Israel role of threat on Iran during the bargain gave israel increased freedom to suppress the Palestinians. The returning of Russia to the Syrian arena give Israel more rope and it use it to intensify the efforts to take over the area C lands of the west bank. The third intifada is a desperate response of the Palestinians who see that the end of occupation is removed to behind the horizon. The joint struggle continue not as a rising hope but as a stubborn Tsumud of not giving up. The intensifying attack of the Israeli state and its rightist agents ignited a lot of social and individual responses. The Israeli media and public is not in 100% support of the state activities. The Israeli state which failed in its year ago offensive on the Hamas in Gaza, suffer also from its diminishing bargain power in the international arena, manipulate the internal discomfort of public opinions by increasing the encroachment on Palestinian spaces - both in the 1967 occupied west bank and within the 1948 borders. The diminishing in the support of the Israeli elite to the prime minister Netaniahu and his group push him to increase his political gambling that can crash him in the first big loss. His failure to pass his Gas scheme and the civil case in court in which his wife is grilled, may be the first signs of his approaching doom. In spite the efforts to lower the social pressure in the west bank by increasing the employment of west-bakers within Israel the popular resistance increase both in the occupied Jerusalem and in the west bank. No one could predict that the joint camp in Masha 12 years ago of Israeli and Palestinian activists will ignite a wide movement of a joint non armed struggle which the Israeli occupying system will fail to extinguish. The thousands of activities and the tens of thousands of participates were not expected. Many small victories and the international B.D.S. warm the hearts of the not too many who persist in the joint struggle in spite of the mourning of those killed, empathy with the injured and solidarity with those arrested. The strong bond of partnership between the Palestinian activists and the Israeli Anarchists Against the Wall initiative was surprising. Disappointing but not surprising is the way the people of the Israeli anarchist scene refrained from adopting the initiative as the main recruiting mission. Bil'in, Ni'ilin, Ma'asara, Nebi Saleh, and Qaddum are still holding high the banner. [Italiano]

On 1st of January 1994 in Chiapas the masses held high the flag of rebellion just after the world capitalist celebrated their triumph on the revolutions of the 20th century and promoted their neo-liberal globalization of the world. But the struggle continued in entirely new mode. The amazing development in Rojava in which the main imperial powers find themselves giving aerial support to the anti authoritarian anti capitalists Kurds of Syria is like a flock of sparrows that mark that the spring is already hear. As part of the imminent change is the panic of the Israeli Zionist ruling elite from the faster advance of the B.D.S.... We cannot measure the contribution of each act of struggle to the change, but it seems that the many thousands of international activists who participated with us in the non armed joint struggle against the separation fence, the settlers, and occupation have a significant share.
