Join Red & Black Contingent

Our intention with this call is to create a welcoming space where we can engage in an exchange of ideas with the broader public. We call on groups and individuals from all social anarchist and anti-authoritarian tendencies to join us to help plan and build this contingent.

Dear Friends and Comrades,

Since Occupy, anarchist and grass roots worker ideas and tactics have spread widely among a new generation of activists, organizers and militants. Anarchist ideas are being seriously considered now more than ever before.

In this spirit, we are putting out an open call for a ‘red and black’ contingent at the Rally for Workers’ and Immigrants’ Rights on May 1.

Our intention with this call is to create a welcoming space where we can engage in an exchange of ideas with the broader public. We call on groups and individuals from all social anarchist and anti-authoritarian tendencies to join us to help plan and build this contingent. Additionally, we will be organizing a May Day follow-up panel on class struggle anarchism on May 10, which comrades are encouraged to help with.
