The joint struggle continues; even many activists have been "burned out" while waiting for short-term gains and victories. The advances in the international arena are paradoxically reducing the flame of most people in spite of the increase in suppression efforts by the anxious settlers and the Israeli authorities. The hard core of the activists continue their struggle in spite of the increased suppression, encouraged by every small success, by every tear grenade returned to the harassers, by every failure to cut a demonstration short. Bil'in, Ni'lin, Nabi Saleh, Ma'sara, the South Hebron Hills, and Sheikh Jarrah continue the weekly demonstrations in a stubborn mood of "tsumud" (persistence) - the long, long refusal to yield to the expulsion-transfer of the Zionist settler project. Friday 21.3.14 - Today in Bil'in only a small contingent of Israelis - half of us members of Ahdut with our flags. As if in "solidarity" the Israeli armed forces were too no more than a dozen - the smallest ever. They shot at us less than the usual amount of tear gas grenades and some metal bullets coated with rubber. Due to a friendly wind even banging on the gate of the wall was not responded to in an effective retaliation. A dozen internationals and two dozen Palestinians were nice company to be with in the keeping of a worthy tradition...
Friday 28.03.14 - The demo today started with a few dozen Palestinians, internationals and Israelis who marched to the wall to plant two olive trees. After the main robocop announced that we were illegal and might get hurt, he pepper-sprayed, through the locked fence, the eyes of a demonstrator who demanded to cross and plant a tree on the lands of Bil'in on the other side.
After the planting was done, a few shabab expressed their protest by throwing stones from long range. Army jeeps crossed the wall to drive them away.
The soldiers did not shoot any gas, because they were carrying cameras, and wanted to document how they were the most moral occupation army in Palestine.
Bilin, West Bank - Palestinians are gearing up to commemorate Land Day - Land Day is held on the anniversary of March 30, 1976, when Palestinian villages and cities across the country witnessed mass demonstrations against the state's plans to expropriate 2,000 hectares of land in Israel's Galilee region. In coordination with the military, some 4,000 police officers were dispatched to quell the unrest. At the end of the day, six Palestinian 48 were killed by state security forces.
Friday 21.3.14 - This Friday's demonstration was titled "Palestine is our mother and our freedom is our dignity" commemorating mother's day, as well as the 46th anniversary of the Battle of Karameh, in which the Fateh resistance fighters defeated the IOF. Palestinians, accompanied by Israeli and international solidarity activists, marched from the center of Ramallah-district village of Nabi Saleh is solidarity with the jailed Druze draft refuser, Omar Sa'ad. Protesters held banners and chanted slogans in support of the Druze anti-draft campaign and national unity in the face of occupation.
The IOF attempted to disperse the march with barrages of tear gas, rubber-coated steel bullets and stun grenades. A medic suffered injuries from rubber bullets to his chest and leg and required medical attention. A few other demonstrators, including minors, were also injured from rubber bullets while other suffocated from tear gas.

South Hebron Hills
Israeli settlers complain:
"In recent weeks, residents met a new type of harassment, which is recognized at Mount Hebron but not in this area. Initially began Bedouin and Arabs invade pastures with their flocks. Following several incidents with them residents managed to deal last week, anarchists and extreme leftist known for their actions in Susiya and Maon came while many of them are equipped with cameras"....
Dozens of settlers from Mount Hebron arrived on Friday to show support for the residents of Moore's farm south Hebron, after residents recently suffered harassment of anarchists and Arabs who invaded the territory of Farm Moore....

Don’t say we didn’t know #406
On Tuesday, 18th March, 2014, thirty Palestinian dignitaries arrived at Gokhia gate, near the Roi settlement in the Jordan Valley, wanting to pass through it for a visit to Abu Saqer, who lives in the village Hadadiya. IDF soldiers prohibited them from passing, and they had to return the way they came.
On Friday-Saturday, 21st – 22nd March 2014, a party (permitted by the authorities) took place near that Gokhia gate, with some 10,000 Israelis participating. It was interrupted because so many people were overcome by excessive drinking and drug abuse. The party took place on privately owned Palestinian land, declared as a firing range. As far as we know, no one asked the owners for permission or paid them for use of the land. Needless to say, entry of Palestinians to the said area is forbidden.
