On Saturday the 10th of August Melbourne will be celebrating its annual Anarchist Bookfair!

Melbourne’s Anarchist Bookfair will be held at the Abbotsford Convent. Stalls of book sellers and activist groups will be accompanied by workshops and skillshares on the ideas of anarchism and how they relate to climate justice, radical education, justice for refugees, and much more!

A programme with more details are on the website.

Anarchist bookfairs are regular occurrence around the world. In London, there is an Anarchist Bookfair which has been a successful event attended by thousands of politically engaged and radical groups and people for almost thirty years.

The Anarchist Melbourne Bookfair is for a society based on mutual aid and voluntary co-operation – against all forms of government and economic oppression – and believe everyone should share in the general prosperity.

We struggle to break down racial, religious, national and sex barriers, and to fight for a just world without borders.
