The joint struggle and the non-violent struggle against the wall and the occupation. An international conference to be held in in Bil'in, Palestine, on Monday 20th and Tuesday 21st February 2006.


The joint struggle and the non-violent struggle against the wall and the occupation

International Conference in Bil'in, Palestine, Monday/Tuesday February 20-21, 2006.

This conference will bring together people who support the popular non-violent Palestinian movement to take part in workshops about the history and methods of non-violent resistance in Palestine. It will focus on the practical aspects of the struggle by sharing the experiences and lessons of such struggles at different locations in Palestine. The organizers are inviting Palestinians, Israelis and internationals to the conference which will be held on February 20 and 21 at the public school in the village of Bil'in.

The meeting will consist of a few opening presentations which will lead into workshops focusing on the the struggles at different locations. The workshops are the main part of the meeting and are where the experiences of activists will be shared and new ideas will be proposed and discussed. The focus of the discussion will be practical and the workshops should lead to a joint action being initiated by the participants in the conference.

Conferencia internacional en Bil'in, Palestina, lunes-martes 20/21
febrero de 2006.

Esta conferencia reunirá a gente que apoya la lucha popular no violenta
palestina para tomar parte en talleres sobre la historia y los métodos de
la resistencia no violenta en Palestina. Se centrará en los aspectos
prácticos de la lucha y se compartirán experiencias y lecciones de las que
han tenido lugar en diversos lugares de Palestina. Los organizadores están
invitando a palestinos, israelíes y extranjeros a la conferencia que
tendrá lugar el 20 y 21 de febrero en el colegio público de la localidad
de Bil´in.
El encuentro constará de una serie de presentaciones públicas que abrirán
paso a los talleres, que serán el plato fuerte del evento y donde las
experiencias de los activistas y nuevas ideas entrarán en circulación y
debate. El enfoque será práctico y la idea es que de los talleres salgan
acciones conjuntas de los participantes en ellos.
