In Greece, the Stalinists are police auxiliaries

On the second day of a general strike against the capitalist offensive conducted into the "crisis", tens of thousands of Greek workers took to the streets. Among them (men and women), anarchist comrades.

In Athens, clashes took place around the parliament while the deputies voted the new austerity measures dictated by capitalistics interests.

The maintenance order service of the Greek Communist Party and the trade union under its control, PAME, attacked the revolted workers, especially the anarchist procession, to expel them from Syntagma Square, with help of iron bars and wooden truncheons. The Stalinist maintenance order service, was interposed between the cops and the anarchists to protect the parliament and did not hesitate to conduct joint charges, and to deliver demonstrators into the hands of the police.

Greek State does not only mobilizes the fascists to try to break the popular revolt, increasing racist agressions and attacks against revolutionary militants and their political scene.

It can also count on the support of "Stalinists" organizations, these same organizations which, in november 1973, denounced as "provocations," the first events organized by the anarchists of a movement that finally put an end to the dictatorship of the colonels.

At this time of social rebellion, the Greek Stalinists aggression clearly signals them as strong supporters of maintaining the capitalist order, in the historical continuity of the international stalinist movement.

In this context, the Coordination of Anarchist Groups declares her solidarity with Greek comrades who face at the same time the violence of State, its cops and its fascists thugs like Stalinists.
