RAMALLAH, December 9, 2005 (WAFA) -UN Special Rapporteur on Human Rights in the Palestinian Territories, John Dugard, was attacked Friday by IOF soldiers during his visit to Bil'in village.
Eyewitnesses revealed that Israeli soldiers fired tear gas canisters and rubber coated-metal bullets towards Dugard's car while he was visiting Bil'in village, west of Ramallah city, to examine the Israeli inhuman practices against Palestinian citizens.
Dugard was briefed about the Israeli plans to seize Bil'in's lands for the constructing the Apartheid Wall.
He promised to convey the Israeli practices before the United Nations, hoping this will end the citizens' suffering in Bil'in village.
