Jump To Comment: 1I applaud the effort and valid attempt of so many people that are trying to help and are in a position to help, however it's very interesting to hear the criticism of those individuals of how we (i.e. United States and others alike) have chosen to assist. Has it ever occurred that there isn't many individuals identified in Haiti or specifically Port Au Prince as individual spokesman or director of disasters.............we are doing the best we can in a very chaotic situation that will only worsen. Our people should not be put in harms way for a society that has failed it's own people. The Haitian government and the elites has a great impact on the suppression of their own people and have a direct linkage in what appears to be modern day slavery.
It is my hope that someone can begin to help assist the united states to devise a strategy that is effective for humankind alike.
