Dozens of workers, tenants, homeowners and community activists protest planned layoffs and evictions at Bank of America headquarters.
Dozens of workers, tenants, homeowners and community activists came out to protest at Bank of America headquarters. Despite receiving a 45 Billion dollar bailout, Bank of America continues to be a leader in home foreclosures and evictions in the United States. The same bank that offered its former CEO a 24 million dollar bonus in 2008 is currently planning to lay off 35,000 workers due to difficult economic circumstances it helped create. Sounds like a greedy pig flu!
