More than 10,000 pro-Tamil protesters have been marching around Parliament as campaigners compared the plight in Sri Lanka to Nazi Germany. Skip related content

A mock-up Second World War concentration camp was staged by Tamil supporters as marchers chanted in unison: "Shame on Gordon Brown".

Roads were shut around Parliament Square but police said the huge demonstration was "largely peaceful".
