International

Internationalism is at the heart of our politics. We believe in a world without states and artificial borders, where ordinary people determine their own lives, democratically.

We recognise the need for global communication, and the global flow of goods and services needed to support technologically advanced society. More than this however, we recognise that for our objectives of a democratic and free society to take off we need global solidarity. For that we need global organisation. This page spells out what this means for us.

International Labour Organisation

  1. The working class needs international organisation, now more than ever, on a defensive basis, and also to stand a chance of seizing the means of production on a large and planned scale.

  2. International workers organisation should be grassroots in nature, being led and directed by union branches, from the base of organisations.

  3. International organisation (if it is to mean anything more than symbolism) should be industrial in nature.

  4. Rank and file international, industrial organisation (of the kind favoured by L&S) should be organised regionally around economic zones.

  5. This vision (shared by the IWW) should not be implemented as the sole preserve of ideological union organisations, but all those organisations which are rank and file controlled, or are in that mould.

  6. In order for socialism to have a chance of success, when the working class takes over and democratises the means of production, and the running of our communities and societies in general, this process must quickly transcend local, regional and national boundaries to encompass whole economic zones. History demonstrates that any successful revolution will have to face embargos, trade wars, and political and military attempts to destabilise, overthrow, or reverse its gains. Therefore control of economic zones by any new revolutionary society will be of paramount strategic importance.
International labour organisation should be organised with this purpose in mind.

International Political Organisation

  1. International political organisation exists to co-ordinate directional influence across mass organisations, internationally.

  2. Truly effective international political organisation has a united plan, will have efficient and focussed departmental organisation, bureaus, and project task forces all working to effect the success of the shared plans and strategic vision.

  3. Effective international political organisation establishes shared standards for organisation across its member sections. Development and political education of militants is an arena where organisations across the world can share resources.

Each strategy has an internal section not visible to the public which details the specific decisions of the organisation.
