Jump To Comment: 1 2 3I was wondering if anyone knows what the differences, if any, are between CIPO-RFM and the Alianza Magonista Zapatista AMZ.
the amz split from cipo-rfm in 2002, and is a more specifically anarchist political organisation than cipo-rfm which is first and formeost an indigenous community organisation, albeit one built on anarchist / magonista lines. as cipo-rfm militant raul gatica put it: "we don't plant the black flag in the street". i'm not sure if there are any deeper divisions between the organisations that lead to the split, but both engage horizontally with zapatista structures.
Thanks Micheal. I never would have gotten that from either of the web sites. If anything I rather suspected CIPO-RFM was the more overtly anarchist of the two.
