The Director of Public Persecutions has dropped the charges against Noel Washinton, the CFMEU Organiser who refused to attend an interview with the ABCC. As a result, the protest rally has been cancelled, but another rally has been called to celebrate the victory.

As a result, the protest rally has been cancelled, but another rally has been called to celebrate the victory and call for the Australian Building & Construction Commission to be dissolved.
Demonstrate: 10 a.m. Tuesday 2 December 2008 Australian Building & Construction Commission 553 St Kilda Rd Melbourne 3004.
The Melbourne Anarchist Communist Group does not know the circumstances which led to the dropping of the charges and therefore is not yet in a position to assess how significant this victory is.
Nevertheless, it is a very welcome development.
Abolish the ABCC!

Jump To Comment: 1El Director de Persecuciones Públicas ha anulado los cargos contra Noel Washinton, el militante del sindicato de la Construcción CFMEU que se negó a ser interrogado por el ABCC, Comisión Australiana de la Construcción y la Edificación .
De manera que la convocatoria de protesta ha sido anulada, pero se ha convocado otra para celebrar la victoria y llamar a la disolución de la Comisión Australiana de la Construcción y la Edificación.
La cita es el martes 2 de diciembre a las 10 de la mañana en la sede de la Comisión, en el 553 de la carretera St Kilda de Melbourne.
El Grupo Anarquista Comunista de Melbourne no sabe qué circunstancias han llevado a la anulación de los cargos y por tanto no tiene aún una posición definida sobre lo significativa que puede ser esta victoria.
De cualquier manera, saludamos este desarrollo de acontecimientos.
